More Fun Ideas for Cheap Clothing!

After I posted the pictures of Brooklyn in her new nightgowns, Kevin's sister Janna, and his cousin Jamie both hinted me off to this website: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=170402.0. I knew just the shirt to use! Kevin got this aloha shirt for my sister Sarah's wedding but it was way to big. He wore it to the wedding and hasn't taken it off the hangar since!

I asked for his permission to cut it up and then quickly got to work on a new dress for Brooklyn. Here is the result!

And with a cute model...

It is certainly not perfect, but it works and Brooklyn loves it! Next up: Pillow case nightgown/dresses!

Wow this is so fun! That is so genius how the buttons just go down the back. But I think you are making it look easy... I barely just learned how to thread a sewing machine, so I don't know if I dare. But it's fun watching what you come up with!

What great work! They look beautiful. (I just saw the pj dresses too!) There's nothing like the high you get from creating something! (Other's claim that they get a runner's high, but I wouldn't know anything about that!
