After I posted the pictures of Brooklyn in her new nightgowns, Kevin's sister Janna, and his cousin Jamie both hinted me off to this website: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=170402.0. I knew just the shirt to use! Kevin got this aloha shirt for my sister Sarah's wedding but it was way to big. He wore it to the wedding and hasn't taken it off the hangar since!
I asked for his permission to cut it up and then quickly got to work on a new dress for Brooklyn. Here is the result!

Oh my gosh!! It's SO cute! I love it. I bet Brooklyn does too!
So darling! I wish I had your mad crafty skills!
Wow this is so fun! That is so genius how the buttons just go down the back. But I think you are making it look easy... I barely just learned how to thread a sewing machine, so I don't know if I dare. But it's fun watching what you come up with!
Cute!
Naomi, you are totally the mom I want to be. Rock on with your bad self.
Now that has got to be the cutest dress ever. Way to go little Miss Talent. I'm impressed!
She is beautiful.
that's awesome...what a little cutie.
What great work! They look beautiful. (I just saw the pj dresses too!) There's nothing like the high you get from creating something! (Other's claim that they get a runner's high, but I wouldn't know anything about that!
Ok, Naomi. Are you ready for more? :) I started the shirt dress on this website today. My friend made the little skirts and they are SOOOOOOO cute!!!! Send me some of your motivation please!
